
About the Role
Here at Rooms Group Limited, we're going through a period of growth and as such, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee refurbishment/fit-out projects and ensure their successful completion. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all on-site activities, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, and resource allocation
Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure that they adhere to project specifications and quality standards
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or risks and implement corrective measures
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to provide updates on project status
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of contract processes and techniques
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse team
Exceptional problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during construction projects
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
