Comprehensive refurbishment of student accommodation at Gibson Street, comprising 75 bedrooms, 18 self-contained studios and 14 shared kitchens, together with reception, corridors and staircore improvements.

Bedroom and studio works include strip-out of existing furniture, fixtures and finishes, redecoration, replacement flooring and installation of new beds, wardrobes, desks, seating, blinds and accessories. Lighting upgrades complement the refreshed interiors, with replacement studio kitchenettes incorporating new worktops, splashbacks, appliances and associated mechanical and electrical connections.

Bathroom works range from targeted replacement of fittings to extensive refurbishment within 13 studios, including new showers, screens, trays, sanitaryware, wall panelling, flooring and lighting. Shared kitchens receive new cabinetry, appliances and dining furniture, including bench seating and integrated storage.

Improvements extend to 14 cluster corridors, seven communal corridors and one staircore, alongside a refreshed reception with a new desk, storage, furniture and lighting. The proposed works are planned around an 11-week programme with the building vacant throughout.
